Our Story

After years and years of working with large CPG companies and contributing to the growth and success of several well-known brands, I had the opportunity to work with my first entrepreneurial start-up brand - So Delicious Dairy Free. Working with emerging brands at various stages in their development was something I immediately became passionate about. The spirit, the passion, the fun, and the risks were all extremely rewarding. So I decided to form a team consisting of highly experienced and like-minded CPG professionals throughout the country. A sales team that can provide these emerging brands with real-life sales expertise, as well as assistance in navigating the often complex CPG food industry.

We understand the frustrations and have experienced all of them! Our team has decades of experience in all parts of the food industry, so we are well-equipped to help you and your brand navigate the ever-changing world of CPG. We provide an entire team of sales professionals for far less cost than even hiring one entry-level team member. We share your passion, your drive, and your desire to make our food industry a little better.

Frank Buschbacher, Founder

Frank has over 40 years of highly successful experience with industry leaders such as Kraft and Unilever, as well as entrepreneurial organizations. Frank has led regional and national direct sales teams, worked with nearly every broker organization in the industry, and launched a frozen direct store delivery organization. Frank has Natural Channel expertise with long-standing retailer relationships. Frank was the senior vice president for a contracted sales organization partnering with brands $0 to $50M.

Debbie Andrews

Debbie has been in the CPG industry with over 30 years of highly successful experience with industry leaders such as Kraft, Henkel and broker experience with Advantage Solutions. She has led numerous Category/Shopper insights teams throughout her career and most recently led a Grocery Channel Team. Debbie provides thought leadership in the area of Shopper Insights and has experience across all functions within CPG sales. Successfully launched new brands with innovative product technologies by providing unique insights to demonstrate the opportunity for the retailer and their customers.

Karen Spray

Karen has served as VP of Sales for both international and domestic food manufacturing organizations as well as owning her brokerage.   She has extensive relationships with national and regional grocery chains, national brokers and both retail and food service distributors. Her specialty is identifying the needs of emerging brands from idea to shelf and getting products to market.   

From sales/marketing to manufacturing, excellent customer service has always been of the utmost importance.

Simone Luke

Simone Luke is an experienced customer development and client relationship manager, with an extensive background in CPG Food & Beverage. An accomplished sales leader, Simone has tenure in Canada and the U.S., with a  variety of roles at Unilever, including National Account Management, and Regional Distribution building out independent DSD networks. Over the last few years, Simone has specialized in driving growth and accelerating emerging brands with a keen strategic approach of guarding profitability while reducing risk, and creating solid business foundations. As a fractional or interim sales leader for her clients, Simone has led sales teams, implemented broker networks, created product and channel strategies and contributed to building organizational structure to position brands for success. She is passionate about setting targets and accomplishing goals, and thoroughly enjoys igniting the same with founders and their teams. Simone values a work hard play hard spirit, and enjoys travel and golf when time permits.

Terry Phillips

Terry’s career in the CPG industry spans 40+ years, the last 20 years in executive roles related to operations and administration. His skills cross many operational disciplines (accounting/finance, human resources, IT, sales administration and manufacturing). He attained numerous service and sales achievements during his first 20 years in the industry working for Fortune 500 companies (Publix Supermarkets, Kraft General Foods). In 2002, he co-founded BioBag Americas, which today is an industry leader in the manufacturing and distribution of compostable retail and commercial products for food waste collection, assuming the role of President in 2015.

 

Lucas Murdock

Lucas is a marketer by trade having spent the first 20 years of his career directing marketing departments for major beverage brands like Red Bull Energy Drink, Anheuser-Busch and Pabst Brewing Co.  Lucas has spent the last 10 years as an entrepreneur and consultant driving brand development, operational efficiency and ultimately positioning companies for long-term operational success or merger/acquisition.  Having worn just about every hat from CEO to CPG entrepreneur himself, Lucas is uniquely positioned to identify the varying needs of emerging brands and working with founders to find the most effective and efficient means of growing their business.
